KATSEYE have announced the details of their first-ever tour – check out the list of dates and details below.

The HYBE x Geffen group took to social media yesterday (July 8) to announce the ‘Beautiful Chaos’ tour, happening later this year. The tour currently only includes date in North America, and global dates are expected to be announced at a later time.

The ‘Beautiful Chaos’ tour  will launch in November and will continue through December, with stops in Toronto, New York, Boston, Washington, Texas, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Mexico City among others.

Weverse membership pre-sales go live on July 9 at 9am local time, with artist pre-sales going live a day later at 10am. General tickets go on sale at 10am local on July 11.

The group spoke to NME about their new EP ‘Beautiful Chaos’. Speaking on where they see themselves going next, Lara said: “Oh my god, I see a lot of evolution. I feel like soon we’re going to tap into more different genres, maybe like R&B, maybe even more dance-heavy. We’re gonna try a lot of different things. We’re all very inspired by Britney Spears, Lady Gaga and 2000s pop, so we’d love to experiment with that.”

Dani added: “I feel like it’s all [about] keeping the KATSEYE vibe within exploring different genres, which is really exciting, and then also bringing in the cultural elements, different languages maybe, instruments and choreography. We are really, really musical as people so I think we’re very open to trying anything. So we will be doing that!”

KATSEYE made their debut last August with ‘SIS (Soft Is Strong)’, which featured the singles ‘Debut’ and ‘Touch’. In a four-star review of the record, NME’s Mika Chen called the EP a “surprisingly cohesive release that largely captures the group’s enormous potential” but criticised the short length of its tracks.

KATSEYE were also selected as one of the emerging essential artists to watch in 2025 for the NME 100. NME also named ‘Touch’ as one of the 50 best songs of 2024: “It’s one thing to make an earworm, and another to transform a pop song into something akin to muscle memory. That’s what K-pop does best [and] KATSEYE proved that they’re scholars of K-pop’s most important lessons.”

Comprising members Sophia, Manon, Daniella, Lara, Megan and Yoonchae, KATSEYE formed in November 2023 through HYBE x Geffen Records’ reality show Dream Academy. They were the final six among the 20 contestants who competed in the series.

NewDad have announced details of their second album ‘Altar’ and shared the feisty lead single ‘Roobosh’ – listen below.

The Galway trio, who are now based in London, will release the follow-up to their 2024 debut album ‘Madra’ on September 19. Pre-save/pre-order the record here.

‘Altar’ has been previewed with the combustible lead single ‘Roobosh’, which frontwoman Julie Dawson has said is about “being fed up”, adding: “I wanted to write one song for the album that allowed me to shout, to get out all my frustration.”

“Women get angry and we are expected to contain our rage but on this song I just allowed myself to go there. I wanted a song where I could moan and scream cause we all need to do that every once in a while and honestly it was just a bit of fun, letting myself get angry when I never allow myself to.”

NewDad recently announced a UK, Ireland and European tour that will kick off in Norway on October 2 and will includes dates in Manchester, Sheffield, Glasgow, Bristol, Cardiff, Birmingham, Brighton, London, Dublin, Cork, Galway and Belfast. ‘Altar’ was written over the last two years and sees the band tackling their yearning for their hometown, having made the move to London. A press release specifies that it “explores themes of relationships, homesickness, ambition and sacrifice”.

‘Madra’ was named one of NME’s Top 100 Albums of 2024 and received a four-star review, which stated: “There is a point a few songs into the London-via-Galway quartet’s debut album when their past and present meet, with the roiling emotions of young adulthood contained in Julie Dawson’s lyrics cutting through the glistening, propulsive sound the band have fashioned into a protective cocoon since the release of their promising-if-half-formed early EPs.”

Dawson also released her debut solo album ‘Bottom Of The Pool’ last year, which she told NME was “definitely more pop-leaning, but still with all those heavy guitar and bass sounds. There’s a lot more synth sounds going on too. There’s a lot more going on, but still with that classic NewDad sound.”

Blood Orange has announced details of a UK and European tour, set to kick off later this year. Check out the details below.

Shared today (July 8), they follow on from the artist and producer’s upcoming US tour dates, which will see him perform in San Francisco, Columbus, Boston, Las Vegas, Inglewood and more throughout September and mid-October.

Kicking off on October 29, the new shows begin with a stop at the Columbiahalle in Berlin, before continuing with a gig at the TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht on November 4. Between these dates will be festival appearances at Torino’s C2C Festival and Paris’ Pitchfork Festival on October 31 and November 3 respectively.

Three back-to-back London performances are planned for November 8, 9 and 10, taking place at the Alexandra Palace Theatre. For these, an intimate “in the round” stage production will take place, with Blood Orange performing in the centre of the venue. This, he says, will offer a unique, immersive experience for fans, along with a 360-degree view.

The UK tour dates wrap up with a penultimate stop at Electric Bristol on November 13, followed by a final stop at Manchester’s AO Arena two days later (15).

For the aforementioned US tour dates, Blood Orange will be supporting other artists with whom he has worked in the past. Shows in Columbus and Richmond will see him join Turnstile, whom he joined for their new album ‘Never Enough’.

For the rest of the US shows in September and October, he will be joining Lorde as part of her huge tour celebrating the release of ‘Virgin’. This comes as Blood Orange – whose real name is Dev Hynes – produced the songs on the Kiwi singer’s latest record. The show in Manchester on November 15 will be a support slot with Lorde too.

News of the new tour comes after Blood Orange was listed as one of the top artists on TikTok for 2024. This came as his song ‘Champagne Coast’ enjoyed a surge in popularity despite being released in 2011.

The song was listed as one of the top songs on the social media platform at the end of the year – making the cut alongside Djo‘s track ‘End Of Beginnings’, ‘Nasty’ by Tinashe, (which was at the centre of the “match my freak” trend) and Benson Boone‘s ‘Beautiful Things’.

Before then, he was listed alongside Clairo, King Krule, Bint Mbareh, Daniel Caesar, Earl Sweatshirt, Nicolás Jaar, Ramy Youssef, and Yasiin Bey as performers for Mustafa‘s London Edition of his Artists For Aid Benefit gig last summer.

Justin Hawkins has announced he will embark on a one-man tour for his popular podcast, Justin Hawkins Rides Again.

The Darkness frontman has over 600,000 followers who listen to his podcast hosted on YouTube. Hawkins has previously toured the podcast in 2024, and most recently brought the podcast to District X at Donington Park’s Download Festival last June.

The podcast has seen Hawkins express his love for The Cure (despite Robert Smith’s apparent disapproval of the band) and reflect on the moment he may have unintentionally “soured” his relationship with Robbie Williams.

Now, Hawkins is slated to commence on a brand-new run of dates in 2026. From Swindon to Sunderland, Warrington to Wimborne, the musician will be visiting a number of towns and cities from January 2026 onwards.

He will also tour larger cities like Cardiff, Glasgow and Manchester, and will wrap up the tour with a show at London’s Cadogan Hall on February 7.

Most recently, The Darkness shared their eighth studio album ‘Dreams On Toast’ on May 28.

Arriving via Cooking Vinyl, it marks the band’s first full-length album since 2021’s ‘Motorheart‘, and were apparently inspired by “the life-changing music of the ages”, as per the frontman himself. “You know that thing when God’s breath tickles your soul and tells you to create? Yeah, makes me giggle too. But you can’t resist,” Hawkins said of the album.

“God might not be the power she once was, but say what you like about her, she knows damn well that what the world needs now, is rock sweet rock. And who are we, mere mortals of extraordinary ability, to argue with the divine?”

In the run-up to the album, The Darkness shared singles  ‘The Longest Kiss’, ‘Rock And Roll Party Cowboy’, ‘I Hate Myself’ and ‘Walking Through Fire‘.

Elsewhere, Justin Hawkins has said he felt “petrified” to perform at Taylor Hawkins’ memorial concert.

Damon Albarn has described himself as “prophetic” after he suggested an Oasis reunion could happen two years ago – but he might not be going along to a show himself.

In 2023, the Blur frontman said he thought the “road is clear” for Oasis to get back together, and that he’d “put money” on them reuniting amid his own band’s comeback tour.

Two years later, he told Italian newspaper Il Messaggero, “The Oasis reunion? Two years ago I was prophetic when I said that they would do it and that the road was level. Well, you can’t think that two brothers can’t reconcile, sooner or later. It’s a good thing, the way I see it.”

When asked if he’d be catching a show, however, he said, “No: I’m literally too busy.”

While Oasis and Blur were rivals in the 1990s, the rivalry peaking with the 1995 ‘Battle of Britpop’ when Blur’s ‘Country House’ and Oasis’ ‘Roll With It’ came out on the same day, the relationship between Blur and the Gallagher brothers seems to have mellowed since.

In particular, Albarn and Noel have collaborated on stage and on the Gorillaz track ‘We Got The Power’, becoming friends after sharing experiences in the ’90s, though Liam has also offered friendly words to Blur – in 2022, he called Albarn a “great songwriter”.

And even if Albarn’s diary is looking packed, his Blur bandmates could be off to see their former rivals. Drummer Dave Rowntree might be off to see Oasis himself, saying in September that he’d be “first in the queue”, while guitarist Graham Coxon described the reunion as “good for fans” in October, after saying in 2022 that he’d be happy to see them reform.

Bassist Alex James will likely join Albarn in not attending, admitting in December that he “genuinely won’t be going”, but he did describe the reunion as wonderful and “great for Blur” in April, adding: “It’s awful that most bands end up hating each other.”

As for Albarn, he’s got some one-off live Gorillaz shows to look forward to from August 29 to September 3 in London. They’ll see him joined on stage with the full Gorillaz band and backed by visuals from Jamie Hewlett as the band play their earliest albums in full. There’s also set to be another Gorillaz album coming later this year.

Albarn has also brought back his Africa Express project this year. In May, they announced their first album since 2019, Africa Express Presents… Bahidora.

The Oasis reunion tour, meanwhile, resumes on Friday (July 11) at Manchester’s Heaton Park for the first of five huge homecoming dates.

In a glowing five-star review of the tour’s opening night in Cardiff last weekend, NME wrote: “It’s breezy and drama-free, complete with a classy tribute to the late Diogo Jota. Noel has a cheeky mention of the dynamic pricing fiasco, and later Liam asks: “Is it worth the £40,000 you paid for the ticket?” As the flares light up for ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ into the spoils of colossal closers ‘Wonderwall’ and an everlasting ‘Champagne Supernova’, the sweet escape comes to an end. Lord knows we needed a taste of that halcyon ‘90s hope and abandon in 2025 – especially for the raving and craving Gen-Zers. The world is a rotting shitty bin-fire and tomorrow never knows, but tonight, you’re a rock’n’roll star.”

The Welsh rockers, whose latest album ‘Make ‘Em Laugh, Make ‘Em Cry, Make ‘Em Wait’ came out in April and reached Number One, shared the news this afternoon (July 7) partway through the band’s current run of outdoor and stadium summer shows.

Their winter tour will take in nine UK cities, beginning in Nottingham on December 4 and finishing with a show at The O2 in London on December 18 – Newcastle, Sheffield, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool will also host the four-piece.

Stereophonics headlined a sold-out Finsbury Park last Friday (July 4), while they’ve got two sold-out homecoming gigs at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on July 11 and 12.  A handful of UK and Europe dates – including a huge Sandringham Estate gig – follow over the remainder of the summer, before the band head to the US and Australia in October and November.

Speaking to NME in April, Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones said: “The shows keep getting bigger and bigger wherever we go and the audiences get younger, three generations, two generations, people who followed the band back in the day but there’s also people who have just discovered us now, which is amazing.”

He explained that, of their 13 albums to date, “Each record has had at least two or three hits,” adding: “I couldn’t think of anything worse than having to play your first album over and over. I’m proud of the work we’ve done from day one and I love it when some kid comes up to us and says he only discovered us in 2016.”

The interview also touched on Oasis’ reunion, Jones saying it’s “pretty amazing” that they wanted to tour again and describing touring with them in the past as being “pretty messy but good fun”.

Suggesting that many people aren’t as engaged with the music they’re listening to as they were in the past, he added: “That’s why the live show is so exciting because the band is still in control of that. That’s why it’s amazing that bands like Oasis, bands like ourselves, bands like whoever, watching somebody else’s huge show and the energy they’re putting into the world on a nightly basis whether you like their music or not, it’s an energy that’s being put to fucking thousands, hundreds of thousands of people on a daily basis and that can only be a good thing no matter who the performer is. People need it now more than they’ve needed it in a long time.”

The Dirty Three have announced details of a 2025 UK and European tour. Find ticket information and a list of new shows below.

The announcement comes a year after the instrumental trio shared their first album in 12 years, ‘Love Changes Everything’. Now, to keep the celebrations rolling into 2025, violinist Warren Ellis, guitarist Mick Turner, and drummer Jim White will be heading out for 10 shows, kicking off at the Classic Grand venue in Glasgow on November 30.

From there, the dates continue with a stop at the New Century Hall in Manchester on December 1, and a slot at the Irish Centre in Leeds two days after (3).

UK and Ireland shows continue at Bristol’s Electric, Dublin’s Vicar Street, and London’s Barbican on December 4, 6 and 8 respectively, before the trio head to Utrecht for a gig at the TivoliVrendenburg on the 10th.

A stop at Belgium’s Ancienne Belgique follows the night afterwards, as does a penultimate show at Le Grand Mix in Tourcoing on December 13. Dates wrap up in Paris the next day (14) with a performance at the Elysee Montmartre.

The Australian trip formed in 1992 and made a name for themselves through their signature blend of experimental rock. The album that helped put them on the map was 1994’s ‘Sad & Dangerous’, which saw them lock in tours with Sonic Youth, John Cale, Pavement, Cat Power, PJ Harvey, The Pogues and Nick Cave.

It was also through his work in Dirty Three that Warren Ellis got recognised by the latter, and went on to join Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds. Both he and Turner have released solo albums, while Turner and White have also released music under the name of The Tren Brothers.

As well as being a member of The Bad Seeds since 1997, Ellis has worked alongside Nick Cave on various film soundtracks for the past two decades, joined the songwriter for the collaborative 2021 album ‘Carnage’, and also formed the side project Grinderman alongside Cave, Martyn P. Casey and Jim Sclavunos.

Last September, he spoke to NME about the chances of the latter returning for a tour or new music. “I’d never say never! But we better bloody get on with it,” he said. “The average age of us is about 100 now. Look, it constantly runs around and comes up in conversation every once in a while. There seems to be much more love for Grinderman now than when we were around!

“I wouldn’t be against it; it was so enjoyable. We’ve got to get this record out of the way, then maybe when we’re 80? Maybe we could double up with Oasis, and maybe they could support us? Maybe Oasis can support Grinderman if we reform when we’re 80!”

Lewis Capaldi has teamed up with BetterHelp to give fans 734,000 hours of free online therapy.

The singer-songwriter is offering up to a month of therapy free through the platform and he has shared his experience with his own mental health problems, which you can view in a video below.

In it, he shares how finding the right therapist and engaging in therapy has helped him to “feel the best he’s felt”.

He said: “Therapy is the reason why I am able to be a musician again. I don’t think I’ll ever stop going to therapy after the impact it’s had on my life over the past two years. I want to support my fans as they’ve supported me, which is why I’m donating 734,000 hours together with BetterHelp.”

Sara Brooks, Chief Growth Officer of BetterHelp added: “We’ve seen through our data that globally 3 in 4 people agree that seeking mental health support is important, yet most people are afraid to ask for help.

Capaldi took a break from the spotlight in 2023 after he took to the stage at Glastonbury but saw his performance disrupted by vocal tics, which is a symptom of Tourette’s Syndrome.

During the set, fans helped him continue with his performance, and he was met with an outpouring of support from both those at the festival and at home. One mother of a teenager with Tourette’s hailed the performance as “amazingly powerful” and said that she was “in tears” over it.

Speaking about the experience now, Capaldi said: “I think I probably knew [I needed to take a break] two songs into the set at Glastonbury that I couldn’t do it. Glastonbury is obviously a big deal, it’s kind of like the biggest deal. And it was the Pyramid Stage so it was a big old gig.

“Second song in, I was probably just like, this has to be like… I can’t keep doing this to myself and other people as well.”

He also said at the time, that he felt like he was “done indefinitely”.

Capaldi has since returned with his new single ‘Survive’ and he made an emotional return at this year’s Glastonbury.

Lauryn Hill played to a largely empty stadium at the 2025 Essence Festival of Culture over the weekend after taking to the stage hours after her scheduled performance.

It comes after the event found itself running behind on the opening night (July 4) with a number of acts including GloRilla and the Isley Brothers going on an hour after their allotted set time at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

By the time the Fugees singer went on at 2.30am, footage shared by fans showed that most of the venue was empty.

During the set, Hill did a handful of highlights from ‘The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill’ as well as a couple of Fugees’ hits from ‘The Score’. She also brought out her sons Zion Marley and YG Marley to do a few of their own songs.

Following the performance, organisers for the event apologised for putting Hill on later than scheduled.

Taking to Instagram they wrote: “Family is family and around here we protect our own no matter what the PEOPLE have to say. Let’s be very clear – WE don’t play about Ms. Lauryn Hill. She arrived on schedule, stepped on that stage, and delivered the kind of performance only a legend can. The delay? Not hers. We will take that. The moment? One for the books. The legacy? Still unmatched.”

Hill and the Fugees have had a recent chequered past when it comes to touring.

Last year, her tour with the band in the US was cancelled which led to Hill being sued by Fugees co-member Pras Michél who claimed that their comeback tour was sabotaged by Hill’s “arrogance” and “narcissistic tendencies”.

Pras said at the time that he related to the fans’ feeling of frustration and thought that the band’s chequered past with touring – namely Hill’s reputation for showing up to shows hours late – may have impacted the poor sales.

This led to Hill hitting back through her own statement saying that the lawsuit was “disheartening” and “some facts need to be presented”.

Elsewhere, Hill and fellow band member Wyclef Jean teamed up for a performance at Roberta Flack’s memorial earlier this year.

Lana Del Rey performed ‘If You Lie Down With Me’ for the first time during her second show at Wembley Stadium in London.

After performing ‘Diet Pepsi‘ with Addison Rae on her first-ever headline show at the venue, the singer-songwriter played the ‘Blue Banisters‘ track the night after (July 4), which saw her waltzing with one of her backing dancers. You can view footage below.

Following the concert, she also took a dig at a scathing review of her show in Dublin in the Irish Times, commenting on their Instagram post: “Ooh I think this is the wrong take on the angle for the story.”

The gig comes as Del Rey is gearing up to share her anticipated 10th album – which has been renamed from ‘Lasso’ to ‘The Right Person Will Stay’.

While a release date for ‘The Right Person Will Stay’ has not yet been confirmed, Del Rey has released two tracks from the upcoming album: ‘Bluebird‘ and ‘Henry, Come On‘. It is looking like ‘57.7’ will be the next single to be shared ahead of the release, and it included a line about kissing Morgan Wallen during her recent headline Stagecoach performance.

It has been widely shared that the record will see her hone in on a country sound, and it will mark the follow-up to 2023’s ‘Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd’.

In a four-star review of that album, NME wrote: “…Ocean Blvd’ might deal with some major existential questions, but there’s still plenty of fun to be had and cements Del Rey’s status as one of modern music’s most intriguing songwriters.”

Elsewhere, the opening night of her tour in Cardiff scored a five-star review, with NME‘s Rhian Daly writing: “All she needs is her exquisite voice and beautifully written songs, delivered with as much heart and emotion as she shares tonight. It might not have seemed obvious at first, but once you’ve witnessed it, Del Rey the stadium headliner feels like a very natural fit after all.”
